FYI: I'm only ordering for the passenger area, it's much worse than the cargo area

An option you can try if the carpet is in decent shape without heavy wear or stains..

I just ordered the complete carpet kit from ACC. I ordered the smoke gray and it was very close to the stock color

That color is known as "agate", FWIW (pronounced "agg-it", hard G).

My '98 ZJ had the Agate interior, and it was almost black. I just looked at a 1992 Jeep Cherokee brochure, and they list three colors. Cordovan, the dark red; Dark Sand, which is sort of tan, and Charcoal, which is what they called this sort of Medium Gray. They started using Agate in XJs around '97-'98. The white XJ Classic I wanted to buy in '98 had the Agate interior, but we ended up with a Flame Red '98 ZJ Y-Package, which was a loaded Laredo painted like a Limited, with the Agate interior.

I ordered a set from them about three years ago in tan. Fit perfectly, just like the factory fit. They still look like new. I'm happy with them.
