How much snow in the high country?

So my friends and I are planning a run up and over from St. Elmo down to Lake City over to Ouray then down into Telluride. I know all the passes were open as of a week or two ago but with the recent onset of fall like weather has it snowed down south of 70? If so was it enough to close what was open? This trip is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 30 and want to make sure it doesn't get cut short or canceled. Thanks,

I was up in the Tarryall/Jefferson/Como area last week and all of the peaks to the west of Hwy 285 were completely snow capped to down below timberline.
