Hey guys,
Last week, I set my E-brake rather vigorously while backing up to a trailer tongue and ripped the cable clean out of the handle assembly (literally - the cable was fine, but the metal on the assembly itself bent to hell). I lucked out and got a new handle and cable from a local dealership, and the installation was a breeze...
The problem is that the new cable is being slapped by my rear driveshaft CV joint (Tom Woods shaft and Super Duty SYE for the NP231). For the time being I zip tied it to a brake hard line (not cool) to pull it slightly out of the way, but this is hardly ideal. Anyone else run into this issue? If so, what is your recommended fix?
Thanks in advance!
