Engine swap - 94 to 01?

BrokenSockets

I have a completely rusted out 94 parts jeep with a good engine and have a possible super cheap deal on a nice looking 01 with a blown motor.

Is there a thread that indicates if this is possible or just something I should not bother trying to do?

I have done some searching but didn't see anything specific to those years.

All 1991-2001 H.O. engine blocks interchange. Simply install the 2001 head, intake, exhaust, belt drive accessories, and other sensors as needed.

The 2001 has a sensor in the distributor hole, simply remove the distributor and install the 01 sensor. You will still have to determine TDC and install the sensor in the correct orientation.
