2000 power windows ? wont work anymore

They where working fine then just the master switch. Now nothing is working getting power to the switchbit won't work pulled switch out another one that works and nothing locks work fine but not Windows please help don't know what else to try. Know this is an issue with some can't find any helpful info thanks in advance.

If you have a known good master switch, then you have a wiring problem in the door or the door hinge area. Remove the trim panel and inspect the wire harness for defective wire splices and/or damaged wires. Also look inside the rubber door hinge boot. You will probably have to unwrap the wire harness to see anything.

Use you volts/ohms multi-meter to test continuity and for the 12 volts positive. Make sure you have a good ground connection.

The doors and windows are just power and ground, but both have to be present for everything to work.
