1989 -3" Rancho Lift?

I was wondering what degree shims I should get for 89 cherokee. Its a 3" lift with full leaf springs not the add a leaf. Does anybody have experience with this lift?

Well first do you have a SYE kit or is it stock.After that you need to measure for your self.Pick up an angle finder and measure the appropriate angles.

I don't have a SYE kit. I read a write-up that said my cherokee could handle 3' lift without a sye. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=101244 Is not true? What does an angle finder look like?

nope, shouldnt need a sye on a 89 xj @ 3"... later model xj's are another story.

at 3", i didnt even run angle shims... do you have vibes now?

I haven't put the lift in yet, just trying to figure out what I'm gonna need. My motor is a 92 and eventually I'm going to put the 92 Transmission and Transfer in it. Would that make a difference then?
