Santiago Peak/Main Divide is open

We just ran up there last night. Went up ortega to forest road 6S05, took main divide all the way to the towers, and back down through santiago canyon. Aprx. 4.5 hours.

Indian Truck trail is open as well. They finally finished up the repairs and it's time to do some backyard wheelin'.

Cool, so you can go up at the end of Santiago Cyn? I thought that gate was closed permenantly.

Yea the gate in santiago is usually one of the only gates that IS open. The top gates are the ones they close all the time. Going from 4 corners to the towers and down the back side. You can almost always (except winter time) go up to 4 corners then back to bedford???? something like that.
