Yes, that's what i'm trying to do.
I have the rebuild kit.
I have the cover removed to expose the internals.
I'm supposed to push the insides down to expose the snap ring but
I must be the weakest person on the planet because I can't do it.

What is the best/easiest way to push this down.
Kinda hard with the shaft in the way.(Yea, I laughed when I read what I typed.)
Anyway, help would be great.
Yes, there is NO preasure or oil for that matter in the shock.
I have also read the thread on Pirate about rebuilding the 2.0.
Thanx,

Can't really help you much. I just rebuilt a set of 2.0 shocks and I just pushed them down, no issue.

Is the shaft extended? Push it in a bit and then you'll be able to remove the snap ring pretty easy.

I DID IT!!!!!!!

Finially got the shock apart after a call to Poly Performance.
Good advice given and now it's on to resealing.

Good!

So fill us in. What did they advise?

Just use a flathead and a hammer and hit it a few times.
I was nervous to do it and accidentially damage the metal.
No damage and it came apart just fine.
