I need to borrow or rent a metal detector and head up to Big Bear today to try and find the wife's wedding ring.

call me on my cell at 773 three five four - 6 seven uno five if you have one local to OC or up in Big Bear.

Otherwise, Im off to buy one at Walmart

i think the newer and better ones will actually detect gold better too. that way you dont waste time collecting bottle caps. i would look into renting a good one. well worth it when it is the WIFES wedding ring.

FWIW, I "lost" my wedding once on a bicycle ride and found it 2 weeks later in the home darkroom where it fell off.

ended up buying a metal detector. We didnt find her ring but we did find 8 bottle caps, 5 pennies, old cans and we found our resident bear with her cub!
