Went wheeling and all was good. Now it won't start and the nss has given me trouble for years. I started trying to take the nss off and it broke. The part that goes over the shaft stayed on and didnt budge. Now i can't get the rest off even soaking it with pb blaster or wd40. It seems like the nss has bonded to the shaft over the years. Any ideas how to get this off?

Thanks guys.

Leave the nut partially threaded onto the NSS and use it to pry against.

Wish I could but the threads broke off.

Ewwww, you're gonna have to get creative..................:gee: I'd have to say since its screwed anyways break out a dremel and some cutting wheels and go to town and split it, it should come right off then.
