I whipped up this diagram and wanted to make sure it was correct.

Yellow has " I-1" on the wiring diagram what does that mean?

Also "engine coolant temp" Violet is only hot when the key is off? o_O

This is from a 90 4.0 wiring diagram.

I haven't looked at the gauge wiring to the starter relay, and it may be redundant to use a relay to activate a relay... but you'd want to ensure you use a switch that can handle that load, even if only temporarily.

Anyone know where orange is going from the ignition?

per your diagram I would assume it goes to crap that does not need to be on during start.

Lol that's my assumption based on the ignition diagram.

The colors correspond with the actual stock ignition wires.

PS: I did this diagram based off of the Alldata ignition diagram for someone else or I'd trace it myself :p
