as many of you know I have be modding my XJ to accept JK front UCAs and LCAs

(some of you may also know that we did this to a my buddy's XJ a while back, but we did not include adjustability of any kind as he intended to build heim joint suspension at a later date... he was so

the LCAs where quite simple really, just lock the wheels in place and tack everything in place... the frame mounts mimic the OEM LCA mounts and are shimmable... also for the record it only sets 2/3" lower than the factory mount and I may be able to cut out another 1/2" or so

as seen here:

notice the shim in the end?

now I am planning to use the JK front UCAs but I plan to make them adjustable in the same way that the lowers are adjustable...

NORMALLY you would make the frame side mounting bracket adjustable...

BUT I am toying with the idea of making this adjustment box be a part of the control arm itself... and directly welding it to the control arm in place of the stock axle side of the UCA

hate it? love it? other ideas?
