Horns No Longer Work

93 XJ non ABS

Long story short my drivers side horn no longer worked then I only had one tone horn (high tone) which was quite annoying. This weekend the passenger side horn finally quit. I grabbed two horns while at PAP and plugged them in and no response. Checked fuse and it was all good. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Feeling in the dark :eyes:

get a Test light
Check the grounds at the horns.
Check for power at the horns. (while someone is pressing)
Check the switch at the steering column.
Trace back from horns.

I'd be willing to bet its under the hood since one went out first.

Also ... don't forget that horns are grounded by bolting them on ... you can't just plug in the wire to see if they work ... they need to be bolted to the sheet metal to be properly grounded.

Make sure the sheet metal is clean/rust free where the horn is bolted.
IE remove it and clean it.
