Aw4 out put shafts

Do they all protrude 1/2" from the housing?

Advanced adapters told me my Atlas II should not be able to mate without a spacer, But it was able to mate.

I'm going to pull it Sunday and see if it is but I'm curious.

I spoke with Jim at advanced adapters and he told me that AW4's mounted to an NP231 have a longer output than the NP242. He said it's something like .500" compared to .430"
and he'll try to get that added into the Atlas install info.

So If you buy an atlas and you have a 242 try mating it before buying a spacer


I'm totally stoked I talked to him the last guy didn't know and just said xj's need spacers because that's what the instructions said. Saved me 70$ and time changing my shifter linkage.
