Pros and Cons to Fox Air shox

What are the Pros and Cons to Fox Air shox on a DD trail rig?

Idea is a DD/trail rig on 37's, and tons..

Fox Air Shox make for a very easy package, but are they ok for DD use?

I honestly dont see why they wouldn't be, the plus is that they're rebuildable abviousely.

I'd look into custom mounts or at least beefing up the stock mounts. Sorry I diodn't offer an answer to your question but wanted to offer my $.02.

Mounts would be all built and locked into parts of the future cage..

i wouldnt run air shocks on a DD, kinda like how i wouldnt run full hydro on a DD.

I understand Full Hydro, not on a DD..

Just not sure why not Air Shox?

when air shocks heat up, they stop doing their job. i've never run them, or really spoke with anyone who has about using them for an extended period of time though so who know how long that would be on the road. however at the first KOH east coast qualifier, everyone who was running them wished they werent after just one lap. i know thats like comparing apples to oranges but take it for what it is.

it's just not something i would do. coilovers are much better and can be had for not so much more.
