A/C Problems

I just recently had a shop replace my ac evaporator core. ($730) repair and refill my freon. As soon as I turned on my ac it blew cold, and it started squeeling. I turned it off until i got home.

I turned it back on when i got home and I turned on the heat to see if that worked, and did it. But when i put it back on cold it was blowing warm.

After fiddling with it for a while it started to blow semi-cold again, but was still squeeling, and it wasn't blowing fully cold or as hard as it should be.

What do you guys think is wrong with my ac? Blend door/Compressor?

Squeeling with AC on could mean the belt is not tight enough and is slipping on the compressor pulley. Try tightening the belt to see if the squeel goes away.

Probably a loose belt but take it back to the shop before you mess with it. At $730 they sure enough ought to make it right.
