cj shackles

a friend of my is taking the lift of his CJ-7. he was going to toss the shackles any idea if they would fit on the XJ? i have not seen his jeep yet so i could not measure.

i dont think so. they are the same width all the way up. they do not mount the same as ours.

guess i could modify them though at least the metal is free
