Ok, need some help here. Just searched and read up on a ton of info with regard to doing an SYE on my 99 XJ. Most of the info pertains to the old style 242 with the tail cone. I am installing a 3" lift and want to tackle installing an SYE as well.

Could someone be so kind and list the items I need to do this as if you were speaking to a four year old!

I am confused as to what driveshaft I could use, which RE H&T kit, and any other flange or parts I may need for the newer style NP242 on my 99.

Thanks in advance!!

Get the Iron Rock Offroad kit for the 242. It's as cheap as you'll get for a H&T SYE, and you get a nice refurb'ed driveshaft to go with it.

They have nice, simple directions to follow too.
