I am working with a 99 and i would like to finish mounting my bumper and put a "HD" factory tank skid in. Problem is I currently have a u-haul hitch with the square nuts on the drivers side.
What order should I bolt these up? I would like to keep relocation brackets on the very top and don't want to create a weak spot. I am planning on getting a set of nut strips for both sides and adding another short length of 1/4" flat strap towards the front of the relocation brackets.
Should it be brackets, bumper support then skid?? Or what would you suggest??
I weld for a living so fabwork is not too much of a problem.
