Took my ignition all apart because it had stopped working one day, all it was doing was spinning but not doing anything. So I took it all apart and turned out the gear was out of place so I set it back to where it was correct and working again, but of course when I put it all back together and try it again, that stupid gear goes out of place again. Could it be that the gears are stripped? Is my best bet to just get a new part of that place in the steering column? Also I am missing the bolt that holds in the key lock cylinder, could that be a problem? Wouldn't let me post pics, so if you want to look at any let me know.
