Had some fun doing building a 4.0 recently. Here's some pics.

yeah yeah, tiny url. here is the skinny, .30 over bore, little bit hotter cam, clevite bearings, mellings oil pump, feldpro gaskets, brass freeze plugs, micro polish crank with champered oil holes, molly rings. A quick run with my dinolicious app on the ipod shows for 170hp on 31"tires. We will have to see how that improves as the motor breaks in.

Shiny!!!

Hopefully I can nurse my rig's motor (230K & counting) along for another couple years so I can afford to have you do this for mine when it gets to be that time...

i have experience building Honda motors, I cant imagine this being any more difficult. Cant wait to try this :)

Did u start with the old Sleigh I engine Mike?.......SANTA
 
not yet, im still running the old sleigh motor in my jeep now:) put another 200k on it since i got it from you. My old stock motor is sitting on russ's shop floor waiting on a big stroking.
 
drives and sounds even better, and this is only the first of 3 i have going on in the shop right now. Russ is doing his voodoo magic on a renix to make it hotter than a fresh HO. Big cam, LS valves, behive springs, should be interesting.
