Radius arm Sans one upper

Getting a lot of clunking from the new rig so was poking around underneath. Jeep has a radius arm and the upper on the passenger side is "twisted" and looks as though the bushing is blown. Remember reading some info about going without one of the uppers but can't find where that was. Are there any +/- to removing it.

Also noticed the bushings are oblongated on the swaybar. Recommendations on replacements?
