Santiago canyon

I'm thinking of taking the heep to santigo canyon for som real mild dirt action. To see what this thing can handle. Anyone want to go with. Were heading out probably saterday morning for a half day. It's really mellow so don't be expecting the rubicon or anything.

I go up there quite a bit ( nice views / mountain biking ) its supposed to rain and its closed for about 3 days after a rain fyi

Santiago Canyon is closed indefinitely, due to storm damage. I called and spoke with the Rangers on Friday. Yesterday, Holy Jim's was open but was full of mountain bikers.

Ya they had a mountain bike race on saterday. We tried to take the little road up to the pool but it was washed out toward the top. So we had to back down part of the mountain. Pretty scary stuff but it was a good test for my jeep. Nice muddy rutted corner. Provided a good test. A stock yj got stuck.

It was fun just trying to get my jeep twisted in dirt.
