I needed to get out of th house yesterday, so I decided to take a drive up to Serrano Campground to see if my campsite has nough shade for Socal Fest =P
The drive up Hwy 18 was pretty bad. From dense fog, cold temps and heavy snow got me a lil' hungry...So I stopped at Neo's Deep Creek Inn in ArrowBear...
My Girlfriend and I finished and continued to Big Bear. After a 45 minute drive we arrived at Serrano...
Believe it or not there were people camping in tents. There were only two loops open. The loop I reserved the camp site in had 2feet of snow and was closed:
EveningStar Loop was closed also. ( That's the entry to Eveningstar loop)
Surprisingly there was no snow on Gold Mountain:
Just thought this was a cool background:

I can't wait for May!!
