Can I use a ZJ seat bracket?

I need a new seat bracket for my XJ, not a seat, just a bracket. So If i got a ZJ bracket can I bolt my XJ seat to it without any modding than bolt it onto my floorboard? And these are manual seats not power, thanks.

Also, do any of the power lock actuators work in the 97+ xj from the zjs?

The driver side will not fit at all. The trans hump is to close so none of the holes will line up. The pass side will line up three of the holes.

The seat will mount up to the tracks though, no problem.

On the note of a bracket, can I just make new bolt holes to fit the ZJ seat bracket in? I would like the power options in the seat.

I tried using ZJ seat brackets in my XJ when i swapped seats, but i got no luck, neither of them lined up. I had to unbolt the ZJ seats and put them onto my XJ seat brackets.

That's what I did. Anyone think that making a new hole for it will work?

Its too short IIRC, the two front holes line up though.

what year is your seat/ jeep I have the tracks from a 99 you could have for $10 each.

And I think the front ones are too wide I thought. But its been a few months since I looked. I think I'll try patching the old holes and making new ones.
