My Cherokee died at TDS. Heres what it's doing..............
Will start and run intermitintly. Originally died on a trail and it had no spark. After getting it home and diagnosing, it appeared like it could be crankshaft position sensor. So I replaced the CPS. The Jeep started and idled. As soon as I put the Jeep in drive it started to miss, run poorly and then die. I would start back up but run bad.
I took it to the auto electric shop and put it on the scan tool, no codes. Sometimes it will start and then it won’t. The computer doesn’t have any signal going to the ignition.
If I had another ECM we could see if the symptoms go away or stay the same. Then I can rule out the ECM and continue to look further.
