Silly question about tow hook bracket compatibility.

I'm search-tarded, so I'll just ask. Will the tow hook brackets off of my 88' XJ (it's across town or I'd go look at them) work on my 00' XJ? I've landed on mine a few too many times and the hooks are starting to push up into the bumper..

I know that I should just get a new bumper and solve this problem forever, but that requires money.. That's something that this 16 year old doesn't have.

I think to fix mine I'll have to take them off, pound em out, and reinforce them to keep them from bending again... That sounds like a fun Sunday project. :thumbup:
