new wranglers are 5 on 5 where as the xjs and older jeeps are 5 on 4.5

No, the bolt pattern on the JK is 5 x 5", vs. a YJ,XJ, TJ at 5 x 4.5"

As said above, it won't work. not without adapter spacers.

Are they giving the rims to you? If you can't use them, I definately could. I have 5x5 bolt pattern on my WJ. I already have the JK Rubi rims on my WJ but two are scratched and I wouldn't my some spares. Shoot me a PM with the info if you don't take them.
