O2 sensor ?

Would an upstream O2 sensor from a 96 be a direct fit for a 93? I have a pretty much brand new sensor from my parted out 96 and have a feeling that the one in my 93 could be shot and could be 'part' of the MPG issue I have...

I'd love to use it if it's interchangeable.

Cross check part numbers.

looks like a "no" but I'm betting it's only a connector difference (the 96 one fits 96-99, the 93 one fits 91-95, OBD I vs II connector differences.) If the cable will plug in, I would bet on it.

This is the one that I have...

But looking at Oreilly and autoparts wearhouse they look totally different.

The Oreilly one is for a 93 and the Autoparts WH I searched for a 96. Guess I gotta go outside and see what the connector looks like. Interesting that both Oreilly and the Auto WH look the same yet mine is different =/

Went and crawled under the Jeep.. it's got the longer connector. At least coming from the downpipe. Not sure what the other side of the connector looks like, but the O2 i've got is rounded, so I doubt it'll work.
