so was looking at a 2000 xj sport with a blown head gasket and 113k miles 2200 think its worth it?
and also any tips for head gasket replacement you guys have would be help full.

Seems a little high to me. It's got the 0331 head so we know coolant has probably mixed with the oil. If the bearings are toast you might be looking at more than a head replacement. Even if we knew it was just the head, I still think the price is high.

Probably has a cracked head.

X2.... does it still crank and run ? If so crank it and let it warm up to normal operating temp and see what the oil presure is.

Also take a good flashlight and take off the oil fill cap and look straight down and see if ya see a crack or any green coolant tint.

Plan on the head being cracked. Even if it isn't, you wouldn't want to put a 0331 head back on. Research 0331 head for everything you need to know and more.

Agreed. The 0331 head cracks way more often than the head gasket fails.

There is a known casting defect between cylinders 3-4, which make that particular head prone to cracking.
