4.0 engine swap ?

I have a 99' grand cherokee 4.0/auto/4x4 that has a severe engine knock. I have a low mileage 4.0/aw4 from a 98' cherokee. Does anyone know if the 98'xj 4.0 will be a direct swap into the grand?

straight forward swap just change the sensors from the 99 to the 98 motor it should be a direct drop in fire up from there

You will probably run into problems with the engine mounts. Check your block casting number, then click this link..
