WJ brake swap - what did you do to your ABS?

Guys,
I´ve sourced all the parts for a WJ brake swap - but now I have to think about the ABS system.

Please don´t let us discuss whether ABS is needed or not - if a vehicle comes ABS equipped from the factory than the ABS HAS to work to pass technical inspection in Germany to stay street legal.

My question - the stock XJ ABS sensors don´t work on the WJ knuckles. What have you done to make ABS work on an XJ with WJ brakes?

You could possibly try WJ sensors and splice them in. They might even just plug in. That is provided that the XJ tone ring is in the correct location.

My bet is that the WJ sensors will work. They should pick up a signal strong enough for the XJ system, count the teeth on the XJ and WJ tone rings and see if it's different, also check diameter.

The tooth count won't matter on the WJ tone rings as he isn't using them. The diameter will matter and where the tone ring will sit in relation to the sensor.
