Today as I was leaving school my Jeep would not put any power to the pavement as I gave it gas. I tried all the forward gear-sets and even reverse after I had it out of traffic and still nothing. I adjusted the throttle cable and still no output. I'm thinking this could be the transmission not shifting from neutral. On start-up it would drive forward for 25-35 ft but would then revert to this powerless stage. Any suggestions?
Before this the tranny was acting up and would slowly build up speed until it would shift into 2nd but I presumed this was only due to the cold transmission. Thanks for helping
