Door Molds

I think that's what they're called. The things that go on the bottom of the doors? I want to replace my 98 XJ Limited with the 91-96 Sport door molds... the ones with the red-stripe.

Anyone know where those can be obtained besides a junkyard?

I just checked quadratec and they skip over them. I expect if anyone would have something like that it would be them.

I think you're referring to the door moldings. The 96 model
had the red stripe, don't know about the other years.

www.car-parts.com doesn't recognize them as sill plates. I will Google further.

It helps if you know how to spell. :twak:
Try looking under front door moulding and rear door moulding.

Mold is the shit that's growing on those leftovers you left in the fridge for too long. Mouldings are those useless pieces of plastic trim on your door.

:lecture: This concludes today's lesson in basic spelling.

I believe the door molding with the red stripe started as early as 94 until 96. I had them on my 96 and I just saw a 95 in the JY yesterday with them.
