Axle ID - its a ZJ

My neighbor picked up a 94 ZJ 4x4 6cyl w/ABS for $1,000. The rear diff is leaking out of the pinion seal.
Question: Does the D35 have the rubber fill plug like the 8.25, or is it threaded like the D30?
This axle has a round cover and has a rubber plug.

Thanks.

Thanks guys.
The confusion stems from my 2000XJ parts guide. It shows the D35 having a screw plug in it.

Does anyone have a part number for the D35 pinion seal? The guys at Checker kept trying to sell me the side seals. They had to order the parts so I had nothing to compare over the counter.

Old information. They dropped the steel plug somewhere in the early 90s (Maybe the 1991 year?) in favor of the stupid rubber plug.
