What's it worth?

2001 XJ 138k miles. Clean in and out. New brakes, tires, water pump, radiator, heater core, and ac compressor.

*BAD*
Coolant in oil, probably cracked head.

Worth to fix or sell?? Bought for $2500

2WD or 4WD? Transfer case? Transmission? Trim level? Options?

4wd standard trans, transfer case, 8.25 axle. cruise control, power windows, power door locks, privacy glass. stock cd.

cracked head or just a bad head gasket? have to tear it apart either way, but if it's just the gasket... $20 ? for the gasket6 & (about) $4 for high temp "blue goo" rtv sealant (i call it all "blue goo", but actualy think the high temp stuff is red.)
which t-case?
this may sound like a stupis question, but which engine?
i'm taking that the tranny is the AX15? (or is it AX5? i cant remember this late @ night)
which trim package is on it? (to re iterate casm's question)

If it's a manual, it should have the NV3550...

I don't know much about the technical aspects, but it's a 4.0 6cyl. The mechanic says it's most likely a cracked head.

I'd put a new head on that thing and keep it. Late models with 4wd and 5 speeds are like finding a needle in a haystack. If you sell it as/is you probably won't get more than $1500 for it. I'd give you $1200 for it if it was local.
