2000 - 2001 Heater Core?

A friend of mine has a 2001 XJ and is having a hard time finding a heater core that fits. I think he bought his first one at O’Reilly Auto Parts, but it didn’t fit very well and now it leaks. Where’s the best place to buy a heater core replacement for the newer XJ’s? I have a 2000 XJ and have never replaced mine, so I’m asking for myself as well, LOL

I don't know what to tell you as I've never heard of this before. But there is a DOA rate for any part, and heater cores are not immune as they are just little radiators.

I like NAPA parts and of course, can always source a part from the dealer as well, although they will cost more.
