my 94 xj runs fine but once i push more than 1/4 of the gas pedal in all she does is get louder instead of giving more power.... anyone else ever had this problem?

You really need to try to give a better description of your problem...if you are having stumble or bucking type action during acceleration that could be a TPS problem.

the rpms increase as if i was only giving it a quarter throttle instead of full. the temp gauge reads normal. gas milage appears normal. the clutch pedal feels a little soft. i did just replace the clutch a month ago but the problem was there before that.
