ideas for a rear bumper? should I just get one from the scrap yard or fab something up?

messed up my rear bumper... ideas?

depends... give us a little backround of how your use your rig. Was stock sufficiant enough for your offroad purposes?
Since your stocker is fubared I was say fab something up. Use the search function. There are ALOT of great bumper builds here.

If you were in my neck of the woods I would give you one for free.
If you just want something to keep the police off your back and pass inspection, and don't care what it looks like... look no further than the lumber aisle at your local home depot!
Else, I would either fab one up out of 2x4 to 2x6 1/4" wall steel box tubing, or get one out of the junkyard.
