electric cooling fans

has anyone tried those electric 12inch 1550 cfm cooling fans found on EBAY for dirt cheap.i seen a few write ups where some have gotten there fans from Summitt and Jegs.some of there fans kits are twice the price and 1/2 the cfm
 
You get what you pay for dude! I have been around and around with cooling fans and I almost had my jeep burn down due to cheap China made fans. If you're gonna do electric spend the money on Spal or equivalent fans and use appropriate sized relay and fan controller.
 
Depending on how hot it is, the Taurus fan barely keeps up in the summer time when temps climb near 100 degrees and you like 75 degree interior temps :)
