Interior Ideas

Getting ready to pull the dash out of the XJ, half the gauges don’t work, have switches everywhere, dash is cracked all over the place, Center console is barley in one piece. Decided to tear out the entire thing, straighten out and make the wiring neater. Put a full set of autometer gauges in, B&M shifter, and just make it nicer looking and more functional looking for ideas of what others have done. Any pictures or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

my first question is what year XJ is this?

It's a 90, automatic, 231 with custom shifter.

you can put your auto meters in the centerconsole right below the ashtray

that entire aera is a mess.. was thinking bout doing something like the jeep speed guys do. the jeep has a chopped top and had been dovetailed. full cage. the stock dash is just a mess.

create a dash out of sheetmetal that comes down into a center console! but it's like you said(jeepspeed)
