It been too long.
Started ripping this thing apart about 4 years ago, between school, being broke, and daily driven cars that needed work to, this thing is finally starting to get back together.

First day of dis-assembly, about 4 years ago.

Motor starting to be assembled, basically a stock build.
Bored .030 over, decked for flatness, crank cut .010.
Pre 96 cam/lifters, double roller timing chain.
Head got a basic rebuild, new seals, seats, springs+retainers, head bolts.
(Cant remember if it got new valves)

It has 3.5" rubicon express springs front and rear.
Put an extra spring bushing to boost front up a bit.
Still trying to decide on some shackles for the rear to level it out a bit.
Plan is to run 33x10.50 A/T's.

And hopefully in the next few days I will be dropping this off (look below) to get some 456's and detroit tru-trac installed. Have parts but have been waiting to clear the credit card for labor costs.
XJ dana 44.

i got the transmission cooler mounted, and lines run for it.
i am not to happy with the way the lines turned out, hard lines hang a bit too low, but theyl do for now.
i ran the fluid same as stock set up, trans-cooler-rad(heat exchanger)-trans, did this both because of ease of line routing, and because it is the way the stock set-up was, im still not sure if ill keep it this way but, once i can get a temp gauge installed ill see how it goes from there.

got some work done in the past week.
found out the battery tray would not allow use of stock lower rad hose, so i installed a flexible stainless one.
also found at the the battery had some clearance issues on the front corner.
i had to trim a bit off the rad support to allow the battery to have proper clearance.

I have a tj air box and tube. i am in the process of mounting the fuse panel where some A/C parts used to be. the tj airbox will go somewhere around where the fuse panel used to be.
it also requires the hood to be modified because the tj tube crosses over the valve cover, and needs another 2 2.5 inches of height. not sure if ill kinda make a scoop cowl scoop type deal, or just bubble up the hood.
im in the business of makeing more work for myself just because haha :)

Post up some pics when you can. I've been think about going to dual batteries and just wasn't sure what to do with the intake. I really hadn't seen anything that I like so far.
