Do I need to burp the system at all?

I've got a 93 auto and had to replace the leaky HCV...not sure if I need to do any burping since a little bit of coolant came out while I was swapping in the new HCV and hoses were off...

tj'sxj is right, open system is self burping.

Ok cool. Just wasn't sure because awhile back when we swapped in a new radiator into my wife's old 97 it had an air pocket and threw the temp up.

I let it run for about 10 mins yesterday after doing it with the heat on full blast to check temperature and it stayed just fine.

Drove it to work this morning about 10miles or so and no issues =)

I figured since it's the open system I wouldn't have to burp it... but after the experience from the 97 I just wanted to cover myself.
