I bought a glass pack type muffler and not sure what way it flows.It has luvers in it I think they should face back towards the tailpipe .I am right any thought's would be nice

Strange, normally there is some sort of marking indicating the direction of flow.

It's a knock off from parts+ and it has no marking this is why I ask.

it doesnt really matter but the having the openings of the louvers facing the motor side would make it slightly quieter, absorbing more sound into the glass mat

It's going to be loud enough either way, but it might sound better going the right way. I ran one for years, it don't do much actual muffling no matter how it's hooked up. :thumbup:

yes i fixed the pinion seal, and the jeep is now bailing-wire-free.

Louvers act like scoops to direct the sound into the packing. Don't worry about flow being lower that way. There is plenty of flow to spare.
