Hello,
In a 96xj does the pedal assembly need to be changed to non-abs when doing a full brake abs removal?
Or can that remain the same with all other parts needed changed over?
thanks, new to this year xj so dont know much about them.

all you have to do is remove the abs pump and replumb you brakelines to the proportioning valve and mastercylinder. its supper easy, i did mine in less than half a day. i wouldnt hurt to have a flare kit with you as you will probly need to make some custom length lines.

that is awesome news. it needs all new brakes anyway so.
am i correct to say that the booster and master are the same for both abs and non abs in 96 at least?
