What is this piece? fell out from somehwere

alright i was pulling out my peugeot last night getting ready to put in the ax-15

i unbolted the tranny completly but havent quit gotten it to slide off. while i was wiggling it around this piece fell out from somehwere. its metal with like braded steel inside of it? atleast thats how it looks. really no clue what it is..

any help is apreciated

Exhaust. Flange where the pipe bolts to the manifold.

Yep, that is an exhaust donut, itcame off the flange on the header where it bolts to the downpipe.

That is a muffler bearing :jester:

It's actually more of a muffler bushing. It's the gasket that goes between the header and the downpipe, a new one is like 5 bucks from rockauto.

i knew i was forgetting to check my muffler bearings... :sad1:

but as soon as i posted this i walked out into the shop and realized what it was... it fell off the exhaust manifold.
