Hi, new here with XJ 2001 auto, from Israel,

have dana 35 in the rear. can someone tell me what is the ratio ?

Is it an auto? If so most likely 3.55:1 , but since its an export model it could be anything. Check for tags on the front and rear diff, if they are intact they should have the ratio.

Thanks. it says 3.07 but when trying to order the part, giving the vin to the dealer they check and come back with 3.55... think will have to open it up and count... does anybody with 2001 has 3.07 ?

3.07 was generally the ratio offered with the manual transmission, but being almost 10 yrs old and an export model, there's no guarantees. Pop her open and count the teeth to be sure.

I'm with Shorty and souske, 4.0 engine manual trans in the U.S. "normal" would be 3.07, and "normal" for the AW4 would be 3.55 but there were special orders and as an export model it could be something quite different.

opened it and there it was! 39:11 which means 3.55 !!!
