One thing leads to another:

1987 4.0, AW-4, 97,000 miles, original owner.

Bringing her back to DD status. I have never had any over heating problems, but while I am doing everything else(HB,thermostat, belt, hoses, ZJ fan clutch, etc) I thought I would replace the WP. It's at least 10 years old.

So, which new pump, non OEM, non high flow have provided 4-5 years reliable service for you guys?

Thank you!

Regards,

Greg

I got the cheapest one they had at Advance Auto. GMB or something. $30 out the door with a lifetime warranty. It only takes a half hour or so to change, so even if I have to do it once a year for free I don't care.

i bought a new one from advance auto parts. lifetime warranty, have to replace it every year and a half or so. (done 4) in hindsight, i shouldve spent the coin on a better quality unit. the warranty is nice, but i hate the limited lifespan.
