so im new here. my comanche has been sitting for about a year and a half or so. starts up good. what should i do to it to get her road worthy again? 1990 short bed 4wd auto tranny.

Start with all new fluids, fog the cylinders with some oil before starting, drop in a new battery and go.

Since the MJ and XJ are clones except for the brakes and rear of the cab, most of the info here is spot on for your MJ too!!

been sitting for a year? bet your rotters and drums are crap. inspect your breaks thuroughly.
