98 Xj Dana 30

hey guys trying to change my u-joints and the driver side axle shaft came right out no problem but im having trouble getting the passenger side out, is there some sort of keeper holding it or what? thanks in advance

There are no C-clips holding the axle shafts in the D30.
Are you having problems getting the hub out of the knuckle? Or are does it feel like there is resistance when you try and slide the axle shaft out of the tube?

Sometimes its a bear to get the hub to release from the knuckle. You may have just gotten a bit lucky on the drivers side. When I pulled mine out, I put a small socket extension between the inner C and the ear end of the U-joint yoke and then turned the steering wheel to pop the hub out of the knuckle.

Oh, and remember to use to anti-sieze when you put it back together. It'll make it a little easier next time.
